What engagement structures are available?

Three. Client engagements are the default route: paid work scoped against milestones and operational guarantees. Equity and hybrid arrangements take part or all of compensation in equity for projects that align with Audicity’s long-term thesis and where our involvement would materially advance what the founder is building. Strategic investment deploys Audicity’s own capital, alongside or in addition to a build engagement, into projects we believe deliver durable value to the decentralised infrastructure space.

Who do you typically work with?

Accepted Answer

Institutional clients, protocol teams, and founders building infrastructure for the on-chain economy. Recent disclosed work has included a permissioned execution network for institutional digital asset markets and a banking platform for crypto-native organisations.

We work selectively. Engagements are evaluated on commercial substance and operational fit rather than category.

What protocols, chains, and stacks do you work with?

Accepted Answer

EVM-native by default, with implementation in Solidity and Vyper. Verification and testing tooling includes Foundry, Echidna, Slither, Mythril, and Certora.

Indexing through The Graph Network or custom indexer deployment depending on the application’s consumption pattern. Other ecosystems and stacks are considered case by case where the engagement justifies the scope.

How are engagements scoped and priced?

Every engagement begins with a structured discovery phase that produces a written specification of the system, its trust assumptions, the threats it must withstand, and the operational guarantees it must deliver.

Pricing reflects scope, integration complexity, and the duration of post-launch support. Engagements progress through defined development milestones, each with clear deliverables and acceptance criteria.

What is included in a security engagement?

Security engagements follow the same standard whether applied to a system Audicity builds or to a system delivered by another team. Each begins with review of the specification, trust model, and adversarial scenarios. Implementation review follows, supported by static analysis, fuzzing, and where appropriate, formal verification.

Findings are categorised by severity with reproducible test cases and remediation guidance. Re-verification of every remediated finding is required before sign-off, with no exceptions for time pressure.

What happens after deployment?

Engagements conclude with a structured operational handover. Documentation includes deployment scripting, upgrade pattern and signer authority, multisig and timelock configuration, and the incident response procedures the operating team will need to run the system.

Where the client wants Audicity to retain operational responsibility past launch, post-deployment monitoring and response are available as continuing engagements.

How does the equity and hybrid track work?

For a small number of engagements each year, Audicity takes part or all of its compensation in equity rather than fees. Structures vary by engagement. Some are pure equity. Most are hybrid: a reduced cash fee alongside an equity component.

Specific terms (vesting, milestones, valuation reference, instrument type) are agreed on a per-engagement basis and documented in a standard subscription or warrant agreement. This route is competitive and we accept a limited number of these engagements per year.

How does the strategic investment track work?

Audicity deploys its own capital, across siloed funds, into a small number of projects per year. We consider investment where a project demonstrates clear product-market alignment, sound economic design, and a credible execution path, and where our operational capability is genuinely additive to what capital alone would provide.

Investments are made on a conviction-led basis and subject to internal review. Capital is deployed through Audicity’s investment entity, structured for clear separation from operating activities.
